I live in Texas and I have quite a bit to say about where we are, where we are going and what needs to be changed. It may never be changed but at least, I’ll have it off my chest. Who would I vote for? Texas may be disappointed to know that I lean left. I am not a Texan by birth or do I say default? I see you all letting out a breath of relief. Does that mean that I don’t have a view, here? I don’t think so; I think that it entitles me to say even more! Why is everyone so proud to be from Texas? Why do people back Bush? These are things that bug me as a citizen. I think that George W. Bush is the worst president to have served us. Some say, he has really turned things around and he is doing us right. All I can say to that, is quit smoking whatever it is you are smoking; seriously.
I am jumping way ahead of myself here. I am a Washington State native, when did I become a democrat? That’s a good question. I think it’d have to be in high school, when we were studying Government and we must have been talking about Christopher Columbus or some dumbass that took what wasn’t his and everyone just accepted it. He made people do what he said, turned them into something they didn’t deserve to be. Yeah, that was it. I was in 11th grade, dozing away and my history teacher says “kids, we are going to learn that Christopher Columbus wasn’t the first to do such and such.” I was thinking to myself, “What?! And we recognize this jerk?” You have got to be kidding. No, he wasn’t and I think that changed my outlook on everything. I really started thinking about where I stand because for so long, I really didn’t give a rat’s ass about anything that concerned politics. I can even remember as far back as being in 5th grade and watching the Clinton’s being sworn in office. The weather was really bad and it didn’t look like we were going to make it since the power kept cutting in and out.
Maybe I am wrong by saying this but I really could care less, but I felt that being anything political was just an overpriced used car salesman trying to get you to understand the importance of my living situation. This is my outlet. Some may agree and some may not.
